Buenos Aires, Day 2 and 3

Our second day in Buenos Aires was also cloudy and misty. The traffic was minimal because it was Saturday. We toured the city and went to many of the different neighborhoods. Eva Peron was a major presence in Argentina. We went to her museum, which opened 50 years after her death in 1952. We saw the balcony where she gave her famous speech. We also went to the Recoleta Cemetery, where she is buried in her family mausoleum. The architecture in the city is very European. Day 3, Mike took the shuttle to Florida Street, a pedestrian shopping street, but most of the stores were closed, as it was Sunday. I stayed on the ship.
