Buenos Aires, Argentina

Buenos Aires is the 9th largest city in the world. The ship will spend 2 nights and 3 days in port. Our first day was a cloudy, misty one. Our tour was to the Tigre Delta. We did a riverboat tour and it was very interesting. We took about an hours drive through many of the city's neighborhoods. We boarded our boat by climbing through another boat. The delta is murky, but supposedly clean water. There are many houses with docks along each side of the river. There is no other form of transportation, so there are water taxis, trash barges, and grocery boats. Each house was different, some grand and some not so grand. Kids were fishing and some were swimming.

Our evening was spent at a Tango show. We sat very close to the stage and could really enjoy the music and dancing. The costumes were fantastic and the dancers were wonderful. Unfortunately we were not allowed to take pictures, so you must use your imagination. Today, Feb 19, we will be doing a city tour with a visit to the Evita museum.
